I cannot even imagine what it would have been like to witness someone take his/her life away like that. And it's so amazing that smiles are that powerful. They could break loneliness just like that. I know it's more than that. But you don't know the maybe all someone really needed was a simply smile, a random act of kindness, or a small gesture that says you are not alone in this world...may be able to cure the pain someone feels.
